The purpose of this project is to explore and promote emotional intelligence through relatable and everyday scenarios. By focusing on emotional intelligence, the installation aims to provide audiences with a deeper understanding of the importance of emotional awareness, empathy, and effective interpersonal communication. It showcases how emotional intelligence shapes perceptions, relationships, and overall well-being. Additionally, this project highlights the challenges of maintaining emotional satisfaction. The characters in the installation are designed to be perpetually needy, reflecting the reality that it is never possible to please everyone all the time. Even when a character receives an answer that momentarily makes them happy, they quickly return to a neutral mood, emphasizing their inability to sustain positive emotions on their own. This dynamic illustrates the continuous effort required in emotional interactions and underscores the limitations of external validation. Moreover, the project introduces an element of urgency: if you cannot provide the right answers within a certain time frame, it's game over. This aspect serves to simulate the pressures and demands of real-life emotional exchanges, reinforcing the importance of timely and effective communication. By engaging with this installation, audiences will gain insights into the complexities of emotional intelligence and the continuous, often challenging, nature of nurturing emotional well-being in themselves and others.
